Creators of Bachata Sensual, one of the most influential modern bachata styles, Korke and Judith are recognised worldwide for shaping the way bachata is danced, taught, and understood today.
Born from Korke’s exploration of musical interpretation and body biomechanics, and refined through Judith’s background in rhythmic gymnastics and ballet, Bachata Sensual blends fluid movement, technique, and emotional expression while staying rooted in traditional bachata.
Beyond the style itself, Korke and Judith developed a teaching methodology focused on understanding movement rather than imitation — empowering dancers to evolve, express individuality, and build their own authentic dance language.
They are widely regarded as the founders of Bachata Sensual and among the most influential figures in modern bachata.
Why Korke y Judith Were Selected for the First Edition of Sensation Days
Humility and expertise are what made us invite Korke and Judith to be part of the very first edition of Sensation Days.
Beyond their undeniable impact on bachata worldwide, they represent values that deeply align with our vision: respect for culture, continuous learning, and a grounded, ego-free approach to dance. Their work goes beyond performance — it invites understanding, connection, and growth.
For us, having Korke and Judith at Sensation Days is not only about honouring the roots of Bachata Sensual, but also about setting the tone for the kind of community we want to build.
