Sensation Days: Bachata & Zouk Summer Dance Festival Announces Collaboration with Sofia Zouk
We are excited to announce a new collaboration between Sensation Days – a Bachata and Zouk summer dance festival in Albena, Bulgaria – and the growing Sofia Zouk Community, led by passionate Brazilian Zouk dancers Galina and Yulia.
At Sensation Days, dancers will enjoy a unique summer dance experience combining bachata and Brazilian zouk, with a dedicated Brazilian Zouk Track curated by the Sofia Zouk team, bringing their energy, experience, and love for the dance to both Bulgarian and international dancers.
About Sofia Zouk Community
Over the past two years, Sofia Zouk has played an important role in developing the Brazilian Zouk scene in Bulgaria. The community has collaborated with more than 30 international artists and successfully organized two international festivals and five weekend events, helping more dancers discover the beauty, musicality, and connection of Brazilian Zouk.
Why This Partnership Is Important
Sensation Days was originally created as a true Bachata and Zouk festival experience, not simply a BachaZouk event where bachata dominates and Zouk plays a supporting role. Our vision has always been to build a summer dance festival where both styles are equally respected and celebrated.
As an inclusive event, the Sensation Days team believes in giving each dance community the space it deserves. Brazilian Zouk is rapidly growing across Europe, and partnering with Sofia Zouk allows us to strengthen the Zouk track with passionate organizers who are deeply connected to the international Zouk community.
Initially, only Arthur & Kadu and Carolina were invited as Zouk artists. Together with the Sofia Zouk team, we decided to expand the Zouk experience by adding three DJs and three international teaching couples:

Rado & Eli (Bulgaria)
This expansion ensures that dancers attending Sensation Days in Albena will experience high-quality workshops, inspiring artists, and unforgettable social dancing within a vibrant Bachata and Zouk festival atmosphere.
Together with the Sofia Zouk community, we are excited to create a unique summer dance experience where bachata and zouk dancers from around the world can meet, connect, and share the dance floor by the sea in Albena, Bulgaria.
